Default trani too full

The dealer changed the trani fluid and filled it way too full. How will this affect things? Can I drain some of it out?

Search on the checking of the fluid with the engine running.. If checked like the oil with the engine off, it will read over-filled.... I check mine cold and hot for both readings on the stick.

THIS WILL DAMAGE THE TRANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Take it back to the dealer and have them re-do the whole service. You overpaid for the service in the first place thinking that the dealer was going to do the job right. Go to the Service manager for this, not the service writer. I would also ask for compensation for your inconvenience. Good Luck.
