Unhappy ac compressor on/off too soon

Been having problems with ac on my 95 es300 for 2 years. On very hot days, it does not blow cold air at all. On warmer/cooler days, it will blow cool air for a few minutes. Tried to find leak with dye but can't see no leak. Everytime i fill up refridgerant the compressor kicks on and off too soon and the air inside is not cold at all. When compressor is on I do hear hissing sound near the lower pressure side port. Can someone help me find what the problem is?

Sounds like your expansion valve is sticking. This is a very common problem on mid-90's ES models.

Do a search. This problem has been discussed numerous times.

You may overfilled you A/C system. Do you have A/C gauge when you filled up the freon?

Yes I have the psi gauge. Do you read it when the compressor kicks on and the can is shut? I had the valve opened all the way to release the coolant, psi was like 35-45 while releasing, then compressor immediately turn off/on in short intervals, I left the valve fully opened for awhile, but the can has pretty much the same amount of coolant left.
