My car has 66.5k miles on the original belt. I was considering changing the timing belt myself. Is this straightforward or am I better off having a mechanic/dealer do it? I'm trying to save some $$$, but am not willing to screw up the car or my weekend.
I do have the factory service manual, but was just curious to hear from those that have done it themselves or those in the know.
thanx in advance!

Take it somewhere and have it done. It would be an all day job for an experienced mechanic.
