Default wiper blades

i have 70K
and no replacements, but i think i need to change them now.. because of a bad wiping pattern on the passenger side.

do i replace the blades only? or the whole wiper part?

No need to replace the wiper, just the blade will be fine. Rubber inserts with little holders at the edge are pretty cheap. I use Bosch and they have been great. You got a lot life out of the originals... 70k? Mine lasted 30k (4 years) and I thought that was impressive.

I change out just the rubber insert with OEM Lexus inserts ($10 and $8) at least once per year.
Somtimes twice per year depending on how bad the ice in winter was. ice scrapers do a job on the inserts when frozen to the window.

I change my rubber inserts every 6 months. I use Lexus OE inserts or PIAA inserts. Both of them work great but the OE ones cost less. Right now I'm trying out Trico Innovision but will go back to OE wiper when this set is done.

I got a set from Pep Boys. You could check them out.

yeah, that is the Lexus parts counter price. You may get cheaper by mail but then there is the shipping cost.

I have tried them all. Toyota OEM (dfferent from Lexus), PIAA, Trico Teflon, and Bosch.
Lexus and PIAA are the silent ones. All the others squeaked.
