Default 2001 GS300 O2 Sensor Problem

When my engine check light came on I went to Auto Zone for a code reading. The code reader indicated #141. I was told this is an O2 Sensor problem regarding Bank 1 Sensor 2. The 2001 GS 300 has 4 sensors and 2 catalytic converters. Has anyone had this same problem and know exactly which sensor needs to be changed? I plan to change the sensor myself. Thanks.

the code you have should be P0141 which is bank1 sensor 2 heater circuit malf. its not a big deal the sensor just need to be replaced, the sensor should be the one after the cat. on the exhaust manifold that collect exhaust from cylinder 1,2 and 3.

Jet is correct and very clear on the location of the B1 S2 sensor.
If you look at the sensor real close you will the part # stamped on the sensor.

Which is bank 1?

is it near the front of the engine bay (radiator end)?

or

the rear of the engine bay (fire wall end)?

Thanks
Paul

Bank 1 on the GS300 is the first three cylinders front of the engine bay ( 1,2 and 3). Sensor 2 is the sensor after the catylst convertor.
You will see one sensor located in front of the cat. that is bank 1 sensor 1. Another sensor after the cat. is bank 1 sensor 2.
