The paint on the hood and roof of my Black RX 300 is spotting. I have white specs on the hood and roof. The paint on my door handles and roof rack is fading.
Lexus denies the paint is defective and says the white spots are "environmental", that black paint shows everything and that lovebugs destroyed my paint.
I have 7 neighbors with Lexus vehicles within 200 feet of my house so I don't think it is "environmental".
Lexus is willing to pay for 1/2 of paint on hood but doesn't want to pay for anything on roof.
My wife briefly saw the report on the services manager's desk saying something about "cheapest Paint" DOM.
Anyone have such a problem with their paint?
Any advice? I am really disappointed.

I don't seem to be experincing what you have, all I have are small knicks in the paint on the hood from road debris. I hope you get somewhere with your problem, just keep us posted.
