Arrow Changed battery, now radio needs SEC code...

and I can't find my owner's manual. I got a 93 GS 300. I remember the code but forgot the sequence to call up the prompt to enter the code.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

YOu hep me I hep you.

I got the manual. First off, if it says "help" on the LCD display you have guessed the code too many times (10+) and you have to go to the dealer.

With that said, press the left side of the 1-2 button while holding the upper side of the tune seek button.

"---" will appear on the display

INPUT your ID #.

with your ID # on the display, hit the scan button and hold down until SEC appears on the display. THen the SEC will go off and your system will be back online.

If "err" comes on, you have entered the wrong code. You have 9 tries left.

Let me know if this works.

Hey Pianoman.

Thanks for your reply. It worked, and now, of course, I found the manual.
