Default Overhaulin` 92 SC400

I was going thru my things today and realized that I collected quite a stack of parts receipts. I realized that I put alot of work into the car over the last three months.
I got the car in general good condition with 90k miles. Its 12 years old and I like my things perfect so I keep working on it. Major things are done by now and I`m moving to the interior now. I did today shifter bushings, two dollars in parts half of the interior dissasembly . I would like to do the leather on the cheap side and redo only front seats, so far no luck.

Just for a heck of it I post the list bellow. Most are very typical problems and I thingk interesting read to anybody considering older SC. I will continue this thread, till I`m more or less done. Anybody having interesting questions (please no boring questions though.. hehe) on the jobs listed feel free to ask.

This is not power train thread, just because somebody asked me tranny question. If the another member ask strut question you are going to move the thread to Suspension forum?

Please reinstate it in general area

Shifter bushings rather than shift bushings. If you have noticeable side to side play on your shifter it is time for bushing job.

Parts are very cheap like $2 ea for two lil neoprene bushings. Job involves removal of the shifter assembly (whole center console has to go out first) and replacement of pivot bushings.
Beside being time consuming is quite easy to do.
