OK so the wife has had the car for a few weeks now. I drove it on the weekend and it felt like crap. It is 2k miles past it's oil change interval. On the interstate the add oil light came on and went off like 25 times. This morning the add coolant light came on, and the ps pump was whining. Hopefully we are getting back together so the car will stay in the family so I guess this week I put my pride aside and do the whole 9 on the car. Oil+filter, tranny fluid, air filter, fuel filter, coolant flush, ps fluid flush. all that. The car has 220k miles on it and before this weekend ran like new ( touch wood ) any other suggestions of things i might do to it.

 

pray to the Lexus God's and hope that all those parts are in the classifieds.

How about cap and rotors, spark plugs and wire? Have you checked your tranny mount and motor mount lately? Changing those will make a huge difference in your ride if they are damaged or need replacing.
