The back of the driver seat on my 96 LS is open in one corner, it looks like it popped out of one of the pegs that holds the back to the seat. Has this happened to anyone before? Any fixes for it?

I don't have a ls400, but the same thing happened to me w/ my sc400. If the pegs aren't broken or anything, you might have to take off the back seat (top part, not bottom) off and put it back in again. I try to just put it back in place put it was a pain in the a** to to do it and I couldn't do it. I asked my brother and he took off the back seat and put it back in again. Problem solved!!
Oh yeah, it only took him like 8-10 minutes to do it. Sorry, i forgot, he did take off the back seat completely. He had to unscrew a few bolts that way he can take off the top part and put it back in the pegs again. I also found a few spare change under the seat left from the previous owner. Hehehe!!

Sorry for confusing you. He took off the whole back seat off. We couldn't clip it back onto the peg because there was a screw that held the seat down. I'm not sure how it is on the LS's, but on my car there were a few bolts that held my seat. He had to take off the whole back seat to align the clip onto the peg again. He's mechanically incline so he fixed it fast. Me, I don't know much about fixing anything so he helped me out while I watched. I'm not sure if there's a easier way to do this, but taking off the whole back seat was the only way he can think of to fix the opening gap in the corner of the back seat.
