So i got new brake pads about 3 weeks ago, and they have been squeaking ever since...first small, now its getting worse, everytime i break.
One time i was pushing harder and a screeching pain to the ear exploded...i've heard of them squeaking during humidity and when they are just put on but this is insane.
You probably some economy pads put on. They last the longest but they're the loudest. If i were you i'd go get some factory toyota brake pads installed. Or if you want, you can pay some extra money for some ultra quiet brake pads but they wear the fastest. Good luck
had mine done about 6 months ago cross drilled and slotted with new pads (good ones) and they still make noise when i brake light i was told by many that that is normal on new brakes and sometimes even after a while they still make noise
Good brake pads as in racing brake pads to go with the cross drilled rotors perhaps? A lot of the performance brake pads out there were made for some racing braking and they can withstand some real hammering down. the problem is tho is that they're a little loud sometimes. can you clarify?

Oh man, I swear by that stuff. Look at the backside of your brake pads (the side not touching the rotor) and see if there is any clear-purple, or maybe red, or some other color grease on em
