Default anyone bought r1concepts rotors?

I'm looking at getting cross drilled/slotted rotors to try and make this brake fade go away on my '92 SC400. Anybody bought rotors from this guy/company? Opinions?

TIA,
-Aaron

Personally, I find it a little disheartening that he doesn't have ACTUAL pictures of the merchandise. I have never heard of that company/guy, but for a good rotor replacement, I have only heard good things about iRotors.

irotors are good, I have their rotors for my 91 LS and they have not cracked or warped. I like them better than factory

aaron,

yes, i have bought rotors from this company, and no problems as of yet. I got cross drilled (the brembo design), bradi, zinc plated, all four for a very reasonable price. it was about two weeks to get them, but I think a good deal. also, irotors is another good option, either place, whichever gives you a better deal, I would go with them.

Thanks! Good to know. Were the holes chafered at all (i.e. holes look like: \_/ instead of |_| ) as chamfering helps reduce cracking?

I'm looking at these rotors rotors at the moment. This guy looks new, but his customers seem happy...

correct, whatever you call "\ /" this, yes, it has it, so as to avoid the cracking. although I heard that normal brake shops will tend not to want to turn these cross drilled rotors, keep that in mind. But for that price, geez, that's cheap! But something to consider, see how the holes there's not that many of them, ie, mine have what was told to me as having a "brembo" design, ie, I have a lot more holes, and its in a nice curved pattern, which looks sweet. If you go with r1, ask about it, it doesnt cost any more, but they dont tell you about it unless you start asking about diff designs, etc. hope this helps...
