I just got a minor water pump leaking problem at this moment. As you know replace it will cost too much for a 92' es300. Then I am thinking about the alertnative way. Did anyone try the "cooling system stop leak products"? It only costs few bucks, but does it really work to help stop the water pump leaking? Somebody said it would be more seriously after treatment. Hope you guys can give me some suggestions. Any opinion is welcome.

My experience has been with a previous car, not a Lexus. That experience is that stop-leak treatments work best with a small, constant-sized opening. The problem with a waterpump leak, if it is the pump bearings developing play, it that it is going to keep getting worse and the stop-leak treatment will be very temporary. Also, the vibration of the pump shaft will likely keep any good seal from developing. I'd go for a pump replacement.
