Brake Booster install
I'm pretty sure my Brake Booster has failed on my SC400. Of course this all happens on the way home. Driving home with no assist really gave my leg a workout! I checked the BB check valve and the hoses going to the booster and they all seem to be ok. I'll confirm the check valve is working once my friend brings over his vacuum pump.
Anyone replace this unit? Can this be done by the home mechanic or is this a shop only install? I don't have the factory service manual yet either

Ive done a few of these.no big deal.it has four nuts you need to remove inside under the dash where the brake pedal linkage goes through the firewall.there is also a clip to remove linkage there.unbolt the brake master cylinder and i believe you can work out the booster with out taking the brake lines loose.this is very helpful so you don't have to bleed the system.let me know.
