OK so I was going to clean my throttle body today and change the plugs.
How are the NGK iridium plugs as compared to the denso's I know the majority here have denso's.
The price difference is $5 per plug. Just wondering what the difference in 2 iridium spark plugs could be.
ngk is pretty close to denso. I have ngk double platinum in my LS, it works great no hesitation or rough idling. save the money and go wth ngk, unless you want to piece of mind of having oem plugs
Personally I use NGK V-Power in all of my vehicles. It's only about $2 per plug at most, and though it's not a 100,000 mile plug like platinums are, out of all the tests I've seen regarding performance and combustion, it seems to be one of the better plugs. They're available in several different temperature ratings, and I usually search for the 7 rating (colder plug) as it tends to perform better under higher compression vs. say a 5 rating plug. OEM is not necessarily a concern of mine, so long as the plug does what it's intended to do, and does it well.
