looks neat, check this out. Apparently this armored vehicle stops armor 30-cal AP rounds, Has bilstein suspension and brembo brakes. Amazing, still looks stock from the outside, but you can see the armor around the door openings on one of the photos.

Are the tires "run flat" tires? They look like regular OEM tires, although it's tough to see from the picture.

I was in Rome a year ago, and the delegation from the Congo was there for a meeting. They used about 12 armored Range Rovers, that had been shipped to Rome, so the delegation could go clubbing, and travel between FCO and the Via Veneto and back. We got to see them a half-dozen times a day, along with a full armored guard contingent, plus attack helicopters flying at about 500'. We knew when they returned from the clubs - EVERY NIGHT!

They should have waited for the armored LX's!

There is supposedly a bulletproof LX570 for sale in Montreal. I might actually go to the dealership and check it out. It is a 2010 model and it is going for C$99k. With only 15000 km on it.



I for sure would love to know, who the previous owner was. Don't get me wrong, there is a handful of billionaires and multi-millionaires in Montreal / Quebec. I just wonder how many of them actually need that kind of security. I remember driving down one street one day and noticing 3 Suburbans following each other, it took less than a second for it to click, that wasn't a normal thing to see in Montreal and it was true, when they drove by I could see the guys inside the vehicles all with earpieces. That is something you do not see every day here, private security.

People that have been to afghanistan will notice certain agencies use uparmored Lexus and Toyota SUV's as well at Hilux trucks. Not unordanary out there
