Smile 2023 LX Features?

Hey all:

Does anyone have a bead on whether there are any changes between the 2022 and 2023 LX models? I know that Lexus/Toyota is very slooow in making changes between model years. Especially on the LX. And after a platform refresh. And because they can.

On the off-chance that they decided to improve anything, I thought I would inquire as I can't find anything on the web.

Ideas: How about a panoramic moonroof? Anything that couldn't be deployed due to Covid and the semiconductor shortage?

Or how about this - A gas latch that is soft touch from the outside without requiring the driver to pull a latch - whoops...that is so 2009...for Audi.

I'd expect a couple of additional color options. And that's about it. But I don't have any information.

The 2023 Lexus was just announced today. Minor trim and color changes. https://www.clublexus.com/articles/m...-lexus-lx-600/

Default 2023 Lexus 600

Curious if the model listed as the "LX 600" is the "2 Row"? Matters to me as I do not need or want the third row...or the space it uses to hide it. I have had three Land Cruisers and one LX 570 (2018). I purchased the Lexus version to get the two row...and have liked it "OK". Still kind of miss the Land Cruiser and would probably still buy one if they re-introduced it.

Dealer trying to create two sales out of each new LX 600 by offering a purchase and trade "deal" to lower mileage current LX 570s. Mine is about 46,000 which for a 2018 I think is on the low side.

Supposed to get the quote when I pick up my current LX that is in for service.

I am guessing the trade will be low and the new price high I will report back...

Wow - Looks like Lexus is going to continue with "feature drips" across the model years. A new color option? All trims receive a heated steering wheel?

This is a bit underwhelming. Especially with the price increases.

Maybe availability will improve so paying at or above sticker price can go away.....

I am looking at 2023 and it still looks bad. No offroad package with front & rear lockers and bumpers with better aproach/departur angles. If they would offer it, I would probably traded my 2016 LX for a new one. O.K., so they suppose that it won't be used much off-road. But then I do not understand, why there is still Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 only! All new Lexus vehicles have 3.0. And even my 2022 Tundra has a digital rearview mirror which is available for Ultra Luxury only (and most people need more than 4 seats in their LX). Lexus also does not understand that most SUV manufacturers in the US offer some autonomous driving assistants. GM Super Cruise is great and now available even in Tahoe/Suburban or Yukon Denali. Ford Blue Cruise is not so great but still better than nothing, Even Jeep offers Active Driving Assist. And where is Lexus teammate? Curently available just for LS 500h but still probably not delivered to any customers...

My '13 Land Cruiser has a heated steering wheel as standard.

Above sticker pricing will continue with a-hole dealers as long as there are suckers who'll pay.
