What’s the range in terms of mileage per full fuel tank are you guys getting?
I was able to test drive an LX600 F sport at my dealership and to be frank, I’m in love with it.
I know the advertised MPG is 17/22MPG with 21gal(???) fuel tank. But what is the real world figure?
I became a little concerned when I saw a YouTube video with the reviewer showing 200something miles range for a full tank of gas. And he wasn’t doing off road. Just a family trip.
Well I had to drive an pickup my son from college. My mpg in city driving is 13.1 mpg. This was my average BEFORE the trip. Each way was 129 miles. So I filled up and hit it. On the way back, when I made it back home my gas light was on. My new mph is 13.2 mpg. I need to take it in for service, I absolutely love the truck. But with this mpg, literally the same as a Ram TRX is just crazy and unexpected. I'm not sure if I have a "lemon", but for some on the forum that have gotten 15 or 19mpg I've never seen that. I drive a 2023 Lexus Lx 600. I have roughly 3,900 miles.
We average 18-18.5 in mixed driving. Road trips with the cruise set to 77 we get 21-22 mpg. Usually 3 to 5 mpg better than the 5.7 V8. We didn’t upgrade for the MPG but it’s welcome on longer trips.
We have taken countless road trips. The most i’ve gotten is 294 or so miles to the tank. Going 70 mph mostly. Normally on the highway about 250. Around town 220 or so. Would love a larger tank.

Agree about the larger tank for the LX and GX (guess extra weight would create another issue though). Use the LX mostly for family trips, so needing more frequent gas stops makes them happy. Guess when compared to the LC on fuel consumption/gas stops one can definitely tell the fuel economy difference. For me it's not the gas cost but the frequency of getting gas (sure $3.00 premium would be great, but it's a $120K vehicle also).
We average around 21.5 mpg on long trips and around 18mpg around town. We typically drive around 350 miles before refueling. You need to be careful in how you look at "mileage per tank" and do a manual calculation on actual gallons used for a given distance. This is not an easy calculation as you need to insure the tank is full exactly to the same level for each calculation. Don't just go by when the pump shuts off. You need to find a way to fill to the same level between calculations. When the fuel light comes on, it is common to only take 17 gal or so of fuel, meaning you still have at least 5 gallons remaining....that is a lot. Lexus is EXTRMELY conservative on mileage remaining, low fuel light trigger, etc. When the fuel light comes on, it will say you only have 50 or 60 miles left, when in reality, based on the fuel remaining you have many more miles than that.

Nice we have a LC as well. Yeah the LC at 70mph is netting 28-32MPG easy.

Yes this is correct but I am not about to drag the family to the last mile unless it is absolutely necessary. 350 is solid.
New (to me) 2023 LX600 premium. I pulled a 5x8 uhaul (about 3k loaded) and turned in 18.5mpg all highway. Very impressed with the MPG so far. average speed 70mph or so.
