Nebula Grey vs. Atomic Silver
Can’t decide between the two colors...Pros’s/Cons?
I plan on having this vehicle for 6-8 years and live in Texas.
Thank you

Nebula Grey Pearl is also called Mercury Grey Metallic and is/was used on a number of Toyota vehicles, such as the Toyota Corolla.
Atomic Silver Metallic is also Sonic Titanium Metallic. used on the Toyota Sequoia.and Highlander, among others.
So neither of your color choice options will be unique to the LX model Lexus, or even to Lexus, and you will see plenty of other Lexus and Toyotas painted these colors. I learned about this while buying paint for some work of my Nebula Grey LX. I also have a Nebula Grey ISC.
If you want to blend in conservatively, in either color you will have a lot of company. A selling point for a lighter color has always been the idea that it reflects more sunlight and the interior stays cooler.
Choice depends on your personal situation. For example, when I was in the Navy you could ship one car to your overseas duty station. You could make some money by buying a new American car, taking it overseas, and then selling it when you left. The big money, high demand color was black. Then you could come back home with a Porsche or a Mercedes. This was over 40 years ago.

I love both, but I would choose atomic silver! I am about to pull the trigger. Hopefully, May - July. Waiting to see what deals Lexus IS offering. Right now, Lexus cash is 4000 on 2 row and 3 rows. Good luck with your purchase!

My RX was NGP and my first GS was AS.
Both are fantastic colors. NGP is easy to care for, but AS showed less dirt and swirl marks. I prefer AS, but I will admit that I was always worried about whether a body shop could match it should an accident occur. There are some horror stories here on CL about that. My RX did get hit, so we had to deal with NGP, but my body shop had no issue with matching it.

atomic silver gets my vote too, its looks very sharp on the LX. Nebula gray is nice color too, you can get by without washing your car for a while. But I would pick Atomic silver; makes the LX looks mean

I have a '15 GX460 in NGP and '17 RX350 in AS and I love the AS more. Somehow, the AS looks so much "richer, slicker". When I shop for the LX in near future it'll be AS with Cabenet interior.

Birds seem to love Nebula Grey. I keep my Nebula Grey LX, Red GMC truck, two white horse trailers, and a green tractor parked outside at my horse barn.
The Lexus is a bird poop magnet; they poop on the roof, hood, tailgate, doors, mirrors. The grey also has numerous bird talon scratches on the doors under all the wondows. On the red truck the poop is just around the mirrors and down the front doors. The trialesr get very little attention, but white bird droppings don't show up as well on white.
Sorry, but I don't have anything Atomic Silver for comparison. The John Deere green tractor does stay almost poop free, though. Maybe because it has no retflective glass, although it has two big rear view mirrors.

Nebula Gray vs Atomic Silver
I had a 2013 Nebula Gray which I traded for a 2018 Atomic Silver. I liked both, but prefer the Atomic Silver. Easier to keep clean. Not that I am looking for compliments, but I received more on the 18 in the first month, than I did in 5 years with the 13. Didn't make any difference to me, but guess it indicates on what others found attractive.
