Question As Gas Prices Rise...

...I am NOT trying to resurrect that thread.

But with all the paranoia in that thread about "ruining" an engine, an ongoing poll on mud shows 49% use regular, and 51% use premium. Check Series 200 LX...Regular or premium? Still, no reports of a single smoked engine.

I started that thread on Mud for ****s and Grins . I’m starting to think based on the fuel being burned in the 200 series in Saudi Arabia and other parts of the world that premium is the fuel of choice and that Toyota is letting people burn 87 octane rating in the USA Because it’s a Toyota so they retard the timing, lowering the HP but they figure it’s not going to kill the engine so no big deal.
