2017 LX570 air suspension running after car off
so twice now, 2-3 hours after parking in the garage, we’ve noticed a loud noise from the passenger rear side of the car that sounds similar to the air suspension compressor. It ran until I restarted the car and then turned it off. Lexus dealer service said it’s “a random noise the cars sometimes make when doing self diagnostics.” Though I appreciate the creativity of his answer, I don’t buy it. Anyone else have a similar experience or ideas?

Your LX does not make noises "when doing self-diagnostics"...It cannot diagnose itself once you turn it off. I'd be tempted to find a dealer who's not prone to BS-ing a customer.

Noise from under vehicle after turning of the engine
Approximately 5 hours after the engine is turned off, you may hear sound coming from under the vehicle for several minutes. This is the sound of a fuel evaporation leakage check and, it does not indicate a malfunction."
awesome! Thanks folks.
