Vinyl wrap the chrome
Has anyone had there chrome accents wrapped? I have been seeing pictures online of 16-17 570s with the grill and all the chrome wrapped in black. I think it is a very unique look, but I haven't actually talked to anyone who has done it. Here is an example of what I have been seeing.

Chocolate, that looks fantastic and is exactly what I was looking for. Did you wrap it yourself or have it done? How is it holding up to weather, washes, etc?
What size tires are you running?

You can also mask off what you want to black out and plasti dip it, then use a plasti dip metalizer coat. Like vinyl, it will just peel off when you want to remove it, as long as you put it on thick enough.
Good quality vinyl is typically rated to hold up for 5-7+ years.

The '14 is mine. I had it professionally wrapped. The only part that is plasti-dip and not vinyl is the rear L logo.
The vinyl is holding up really well. I like to have a super clean car so I get it washed/detailed every 2 weeks or so, and they use some products on it to UV protect it and keep it looking good. It has been on for about 10 months and still looks like they day it was done.
Like Chocolate said, the tires are LT285/70R17 BFG AT KO2. I have been happy with them so far, but after 40k miles, they are starting to get a bit noisy.
Please let me know if you have any questions or want some more pictures.

Wow, it looks like we are close to each other. I am in Birmingham also, specifically in the Inverness area.
I had the wrap done through my detailer, but it was https://www.cgsvinyl.com that did the work.
