Anyone having to add air to tires often?
From my first week with my new LX I have had to add air to two of my tires. Started out it would be low a couple of pounds after a week of driving but my front passenger tire is now leaking about 1 psi per day. Taking it in for them to look at today.
I have always checked my tire pressure but never had to add so much air. Hope they can spot the leak and fix it.

Anyway, just returned from the dealer and the tire had a small nail in the sidewall and it could not be repaired. They do not have the tire there and it will be tomorrow when they get it. I had them put the spare on the front and they kept my wheel and will call tomorrow when they get the new tire. I did not know the spare had a actual alloy wheel that matched the others. The rim they kept will be the new spare when I pick it up tomorrow.
$500 bucks and all is good!
The spare they put on the front had 42psi in it as it was the over inflated spare that they should have let some air out of before sending me on my way. It also looks like they diabled my TPM system as all spaces are blank. I guess they did not want me getting that pesky warning on my screen.
Will report back tomorrow.

Quit living on the edge with that LX, Greg; the 2017s are not out yet!
Kidding aside, sorry to hear about the nail.
I got a bit of sticker shock from your post. I remember the Dunlops on the 2008-15 LX being noticeably pricier than the Michelins (which I have on mine, and you did on yours [or would request them], if memory serves me right). I guess they are the only game in town for the 21" wheels (which are gorgeous, BTW), and the larger rim diameter only dials up the price pain.

Yep, only one tire maker for these special LX wheels but I think they add a good bit to the truck's looks and would have ordered them if they had not been on the vehicle. They run around $450 each with out the door around $500. Will not know till tomorrow but that is what the quoted and is in line with tire rack.
Wonder what he did to disable the TPM system to show all blanks?

Looking forward to just checking the air, like you, very soon!
Thanks

On my way home after delivery, I've noticed 14 psi difference - right front tire 46 psi, other 32 psi... I've noticed this after driving a few miles. They probably did not do any pre-delivery inspection :-)

All that is lacking is resetting the TPMS which after looking it up and finding the button, will be done after lunch.
Happy my vehicle is whole again, even though my wallet is a little lighter.

I have no regrets. I tried tire rack once and they shipped my tires to a tire place over 400 miles from where I had asked. Took two weeks to get them picked up and sent to the right location. I had already purchased tires from somewhere else and even though Tire Rack admitted the error I had to get my bank to reverse all of their charges.
