Wife drove the LX with diffs locked!!!
I just discovered that my wife had driven our 2013 LX with the diffs locked on regular pavement. She had mentioned the vehicle had felt hard to turn and after checking sure enough the diff lock was engaged. Not sure if she accidentally pushed it or a possibly a valet did it from the night before. Either way she drove with the diff lock engaged for probably close to a full day. It makes me cringe when I think about it.
When I got home last night I wasn't able to unlock the diff, light kept blinking. This morning we tried again and after moving the car forward and back a few times, finally was able to disengage it. My question is how much damage did we potentially do to the drivetrain or the differential?

Pole Position
Beat me to it. No offense intended. But it's often true. Sorta like the mindset of: "unusual and alarming noises can be tuned-out with the radio volume control..."
There is a light on the dash dear.
"OH... there is?"
Yes dear.
"What is it for"
What's the difference if you're not paying attention?

Argh!!
I read this thread a few weeks ago when I got mine and thought, man that sucks, that will never happen to me.
Last night my wife took it to a work party and the valet must have hit the switch. She drove about 25 miles with the center diff locked.
It's at Lexus right now. I told them what happened and they suggested draining the fluid and inspecting for burnt or overheated fluid, and checking for other stress.
Ugh.
I felt sick to my stomach last night when I found out.
Fingers crossed that it didn't do any damage.
