Default Importing Garmin GPS favorites to Lexus memory points

Hi,

I'm new here and been reading a bit on this forum for a few days now since buying a new 2013 LX 570.

I'm sure others have gone through this before, but I couldn't find much on the forum or via my google searches.

I have a portable Garmin Nuvi that was in my Land Cruiser and would like to transfer my favorites, which are places I've saved on my Garmin, to the Lexus memory points.

Garmin's file is .gpx format, I tried copying that file via USB port to the Lexus system but it didn't recognize the file. So I backed up whatever few points I had on the Lexus navigation to my USB and noticed their format is .mit

Is there a program out there that can convert my .gpx files to .mit or what have others done?

cheers

Wael
