Something else we're not getting in North America, Google Search, Street View and Panoramio. We just get Bing search instead.

ALL-NEW IS BRINGS SMARTER DESTINATION INFORMATION WITH GOOGLE
GOOGLE LOCAL SEARCH, STREET VIEW AND PANORAMIO PROVIDED AS STANDARD IN NEW LEXUS PREMIUM NAVIGATION SYSTEM
Brussels, Belgium - The all-new Lexus IS, launched in June-July across Europe, brings the very latest in-car experience to drivers through integration of a range of advanced connected services.
These include Google-enhanced navigation, to improve the way a driver is able to discover locations he or she intends to travel to.
The all-new IS next generation in-dash system gives users direct access to Google local search, Street View and Panoramio services, which are part of the Google Maps offering.
Google local search allows searching online for points of interests (hotels, restaurants, ATMs, petrol stations, attractions, services, etc.) sourced from the continually updated Google database.
With Street View, Lexus IS drivers are able to use real-life images to visually confirm or learn about their destination. In addition, images from the global pictures-sharing platform Panoramio may be uploaded, viewed in full-screen on the 7” centre console screen, and directly selected as destination in the navigation system.
With this next generation technology, Lexus aims to provide drivers with the information they need, when they need it most. Now Lexus drivers can have access to map features powered by Google - and a much more informed drive wherever they are going.

We do get those safety options here in the US. However, availability varies dependent upon the model variation. There was a major discussion previously that was shut down concerning options.
I agree that Google is better than Bing but I do not feel that it is a huge difference search wise. Street view up on the navigation screen would be nice though.
