(first post) Upgraded 2009 LX tail lights to 2013
I recently traded my 2008 LC 200 for a 2008 LX 570 (long story). I have been a member of another forum and read the posts on here but just signed up.
I upgraded the 2009 LX tail lights to the 2013.
I just ordered 2013 tail lights.
I am by no means a mechanic. However, without any diagrams or anything, I was able to swap the outer lamps in less than. 5 min each and the inner in less than 10 each. Makes a big difference.
I wanted to post that the fit was easy and the only difference is the small bracket the bulb for the turn signals was housed in. Had to trim a tiny piece off the 2013 and it snapped right in and locked in place. The white turn signal bulbs will have to be replaced with yellow which I have not done yet but will today.
Just posted in case anyone was wondering how hard it would be to swap. It wasn't.
FYI I also ordered the LC 200 window mouldings and door handles, and I will post pics when done.
The third pic is my truck now and the 4th is a pic of what it will look like after LC 200 trim. Getting rid of some chrome. Love the LX.

Nicely done - thank you for sharing! And welcome to CL!
It looks great. One comment... The outer housing seems to be a tad high where it meets the inner housing - at least based on the angle of this picture. I'm guessing it's an easy adjustment. The housing-to-body gap along the top is perfect until you get to that area and it tightens up. Similarly, the gap along the bottom seems to widen in that area.
This is fantastic, though - I'm a perfectionist, and my eyes are always drawn to this sort of thing!
