Chicky,
I'm truly sorry to hear about your less-than-ideal Lexus experience; I am ashamed to say that not all dealerships hold themselves to the high standards that they should. All vehicle dealings aside, you should have been treated with respect and integrity from the beginning and I apologize for our fellow dealership's lack of good sense.

The QX56 is one of the main competitors for the LX at the moment. The majority of the features on the QX that you described earlier can also be found on the 2013 LX along with a host of other options such as an integrated smart phone app suite into the nav system. Lexus holds a higher price point because they are number one in initial quality (Inifiniti is number seven) and because they have an exceptional reputation for service and longevity. I hope that Lexus will be able to redeem themselves in the future; I genuinely believe that their vehicles possess an unsurpassed level of quality. However, in the meantime, thank you for providing us with a challenge to overcome and an opportunity to learn from our mistakes.

Just curious on long term review. Judging from your car buying habits, you might have traded it in by now.

I have owned my 2011 qx56 with all the packages for 6 years and 60k miles. It's an awd model. It's been flawlwss, never had any issue or taken it for any reason other than oil change and recall on timing chain. I had no issue with timing chain maybe related to my 3500 mile oil change regiment. I bought a 2014 ls 40 awd new in 2014. I Ile the car and git a great deal on it just before model year change. My ls 40 has a rear collision warning system that was not available until 2014 on qx. Considering up grading ti it with a limited package but feel I should consider Le as well. I,pression I have is qx is larger inside and seats more than 5 better, note I have bench seat on my qx. I'm curious about others experiences with both vehicles . I cut ally had a better experience at sewell infiniti than my mom sewell lexus dealer in north dallas area.
