have any of you had to change your rear tire with the spare.
o.m.g. it is not easy. first the tiny jack is miniscule compared with the size vehicle it needs to lift.
then there is really no instructions on how to do it....the manual basically says "shove it under the axle arm where you feel like it". there is no marking on the axle of where to put the jack. there is no flat spot to push the jack top onto, no way it securely locks to the axle.

luckily i was in my driveway and not on some backwoods trail.
but i put the jack on a big board to give it some extra stability, loosened the nuts a little, then started jacking. for some reason i can not fathom the jack did not slip off of the axle point i chose to jack up up with. but i did not trust it at all.

has anyone else gone thru this? am i missing something about where to put the jack top?

i recomend bringing along a piece of 2x10 board to put the jack on top of! and of course, don't forget the wheel chocks
