Default Is there key-fob association with the vehicle?

With my Subaru Legacy 2018 vehicle, as soon as I open the door, the seat self adjust base on my key-fob because I've paired the key with the vehicle. For the 2014 LX 570, is there such thing? I notice that as soon as I press the engine start button, everything self adjusted to my settings. Now, if someone has my key, I assumed they'll have to manually readjust or press one of the preset buttons on the door (if they already setup a preset seat button), correct?

Triggering the memory settings with each key fob is easy to set up and easy to disable.
With the seat/wheel/mirrors/HUD all adjusted you press and hold Set and then #1 (or 2/3).
Now that the memory is set be sure that only one key fob is inside the car,
Press and hold #1 (or 2/3) and then press and hold the inside door handle "Unlock" button until is chirps.
Now the car will respond when you reach through the outside driver's door handle while carrying fob #1.
You may reposition and rememorize the seat and the fob trigger will remain in effect.
Note: this only works when the car is locked and being unlocked.
If the car is already unlocked then opening the door does not trigger the memory position.

To disable this feature - with only one fob in the car, press and hold the Set button and then press/hold inside door Unlock...

Interesting, thank you for the tip! I'll give that a try.
