Remotes not working to open - when started alarm engages
This morning my 2011 LX570 all of a sudden does not respond to any of the remotes to lock or unlock. I manually unlocked the door and was able to start the car but when I did the alarm goes off. I cannot figure out how to turn it off but eventually it does go off.
I unhooked the black terminal on the battery just thinking it might reset the system in some manner but when I hook it back up the alarm goes off and againstays honking until it decides to stop. The keys are not being recognized by the alarm but again they do start the car.
Can someone please help troubleshoot what might be happening and how to fix?

I've just had a really similar issue, no alarm but key fobs aren't doing anything and the rear trunk won't open with either the remote, button on dash or manually, hoping there's a solve

I'd start with replacing one or both of the remote batteries.

Just solved the issue for me, was a bad fuse 'main body ECU', changed it over and everything is back to normal.
