Buying 2015 lx, looking for advice.
If the dealer is willing to put it in writing....."there is NO repaint in any body panels.....Vehicle is free from any accidents....." and they can throw in and oil change, tire rotation (w/ the same tires on all 4 corners, brake pad thickness at 8mm+, brake fluid replace (if not at 30/60k), coolant replacement..... I think you should be ok. How did the vehicle end up at a Lexus dealership? I wonder if they purchased it from an auction.
This could also be a symptom of the handbrakes being a little over adjusted. So the shoes are rubbing against the drum, and as speeds increase, the heat causes the shoes to expand even more and this results in the vibration.
The solution is simple - back off the handbrake a little.
This is such a common issue with the LX470 too (as well as 100 Series and 200 Series LandCruisers).
