Default Cruise Control on 2011 LX570

I've owned two Land Cruisers, 1999 and a 2001, and most recently a 2006 LX470. On any of the rigs if I bump the cruise control lever up it increases sped 1 mph, if I bump it down it drops 1 mph. I have recently purchased a used 2011 KX570 and if I bump the lever up or down it goes up or down 5 mph. The manual that comes with the rig says it is supposed to go up or down 1 mph. The dealer tells me this is normal. I'm having my doubts on their knowledge as it contradicts Lexus's owners manual. What do you experience on your LX570?

One MPH per bump up or down. Same on all my Lexus and Toyotas. Could this be a dealer programmed option? I know in the back of the owners manual for my 2016 LX, there are a list of things you can change through menus and settings and such, but then there are other things listed that the dealer has to set. Here is a pic from the manual. I couldn't find anything about the cruise control, but it may be different on 2011.

Regular cruise control on our '13 Land Cruiser acts like a 100 series...speed can be set in 1 mph increments.

Radar cruise control changes speed in 5 mph increments. The Radar opens by default when you request speed control. That can be changed to Speed version by pushing the speed control lever forward. It's not a toggle switch...if you want to go bak to Speed mode, turn off the speed control and turn it back on. Radar speed control in 1 mph increments would drive you absolutely freakin' nuts, especially around town.

IMO, radar speed control is another crutch for inattentive drivers. In the mountains, it's a joke. Pulling a 3-horse trailer with 2 passengers, while trying to give them a very comfortable ride, is a challenge. Going downhill, brakes go on with no downshift(s), so get to know your brake service folks. I prefer regular cruise control, manual gear shifting, and driving in "Power" mode. It's almost close to a manual shifter.

Radar cruise on 2016+ LX goes up and down 1 mph per bump, just like regular cruise. How do I know, the HUD shows 1 mph adjustments with just a bump. May be different on models below year 2016.
