Unsure what this is called but just noticed it’s sticky on both sides, passenger and driver. Do any of you guys have this issue and is there a recall or TSB for this? It’s similar to the sticky or melting dash and door panels I’ve seen for IS and LS vehicles.

 

you mean the grab handles? No problem I've heard of and no TSB I know of. What year is the LX?

 

2014, unsure if it just needs a clean. It was dealer detailed recently unsure if they put some kind of sticky substance on it.

 

If they used a wrong cleaner then it may have damaged the finish and made it sticky. I did that with a dashboard once.

The only way to fix it (if you've tried to clean it) is to replace it.
