Default Transmission Hard Shift

I have a 2016 LX with 33K miles, purchased about two months ago. If I accelerate where RPMs > 2000, it shifts hard from 1st to 2nd. Is this fairly normal, or should I investigate this?

Mine w/ about 47k miles so far...MY15. temperature range from 36-110. Never felt hard shifting. The only thing I usually do is when during cold start, I let the vehicle idle for 45s to a min before starting to drive. First 5 miles I take it easy on the truck also. (on ECO Pwr)

Totally agree, I would be concerned if you experiencing this after the car warmed up.

For the benefit of others on this forum, T-SB-0209-17 seems to have addressed my issue. See https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...45752-9999.pdf.
