Hey guys! I have a question.

So I recently had a CompuStar T12 installed in my LX. I had a T11 on my previous 2009 GX. The LX is a 2011 and like everyone knows, has the key-less entry. My friend has a T11 put in her 2012 GX. For her, when she pulls open the door, the factory system AND the aftermarket system are dis-armed. Mine does not do that. I have separately dis-arm the after market system. Otherwise when I pull open the door, the after market system goes off. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this? Does hers work because it's a T11 model? From what I have been told, the only difference between the two models is that mine has 2 two-way remotes, the T11 has 1.

When I talked to the guys who did the install (they did hers and mine--I recommended it to her), they said they were not sure why it worked on hers but not mine. They said there was an other add on they could try that would communicate with the aftermarket system and the factory system to disarm both, but that's an other $60. To me, the option is worth it. I really like not having to take my keys out of my pocket, so I'll pay the $60, but if there is a way to save that $60, I'd be all for it.
