2,000 miles into my '18 570. All is great, but is there some way to keep the screen from defaulting to the map at every startup? I would like another option unless I'm using the nav system to get someplace.

 

If you select other than Map from the right side, then switch that portion of display to the left, whatever displayed when you turned ignition off, will be displayed next time when you start the car.

 

 

Understand that. I'm lazy and don't want to have to do anything. After starting the car I'm busy checking mirrors, seat belt, backing out of the garage, checking for oncoming traffic as I pull out of the driveway, etc.

I just want it to default to where I want it.

 

That's what it said: Will display the last screen before tuned off. If the last was audio, when you started again, it will be display the audio, etc.

 

Got it. Check the "Thank You." Was there before the quote I posted.
