Default Wheel-Tire Change Feedback

Looking to upgrade tires to something more off-road aggressive when current set of Hankook Dynapro 285/50-20 wear out. To avoid all rubbing I was looking at 285/60-18 on powdercoated black steelie 18X8 Tundra wheels. No significant difference in diameter to affect gearing or speedo, but looking for feedback from anyone who has done something similar.

Specifically how does the on-road ride change with +1" sidewall (5.6" to 6.7")?
Any particular AT tire exhibit low on-road noise?
Anyone with an 18' setup running K02's?
