pretty much the same. All personal preference. I like the looks of 13-15 model year, but wanted low mileage CPOed. At the time a 16 with the same miles would of cost about $10k more. I hate the looks of that big snowplow grill on the 16-18 LX's so I saved money and got what I wanted.

In my experience the front grill design will grow on you and after awhile you will like it. Good luck on your search.

I just picked up a 2015 grey exterior with black interior with 35k miles for $50.5k in a private party deal. A similar 2016 seems to require another 20k. I think the 2015 is a total dinosaur but a good dinosaur. I do worry that the new two row option will bring pricing down across the board as you can get a new 2018 for around 80k. I’d love a 2016+ but didn’t want to lay out that kind of cash.

great deal that's $10k+ under the going price for a vehicle with that mileage being sold on auto trader. Even more if it's a southern owned, no rust, complete service records from a Lexus dealer, clean carfax vehicle. Avg. for yours today would be around $62-63k. Nice find!

i agree with you, i am looking around any decent ones pre 2016 with 35k miles and under are no less than 56k- i want to stick around 50, but i am also thinking i should just wait till end of the year till the 16+ prices are near the 50 mark.

What do you all think about this vehicle?

I am concerned about the auction part. Should I? Any suggestions of what precautions to take?

its a high mileage rental vehicle? I would adjust the price accordingly.

I wasn't sure that "Type: Rental" on CarFax meant that it was a rental car.
It makes given the large number of miles & the fact that it was sold at an auction.

I've seen ex-rental 2016 Landcruisers in the high $50s..... here in TX Pat Lobb Toyota in Mckinney, TX offered a leftover new 2017 Landcruiser for about $75k. All that to say I think you can do better...
