Default Leather question

I went to look at an L-certified 2014 LX and i noticed something on the leather caught my attention upon a careful review of the car. The rear seat bottom cushion, below where the armrest would be when down, I noticed a few lines in varying lengths (longest is around an inch or so) in the leather. My fist thought was if this was some sort of repair to a cut in the leather, but I wondered if it could be something that was naturally occurring in the leather. Most car leather I've seen is pretty uniform but this almost looked like maybe it could be in the actual hide. Most are pretty smooth to,the touch, but one spot did have a very very slight rise like a minor scar on skin. I realize my description may sound a bit strange but my question is if your leather is very smooth and uniform or do you see slight variations or evidence of a more natural hide. I wasn't sure if this was normal or evidence of some sort of repair or reconditioning. ( I haven't seen this before but to be fair I have not looked over an LX this closely before) The majority of the seats are perforated so I noticed it in the middle of the second row seat and very very slightly on the front seat console armrest.

Without a picture it is hard to make a judgment but the leather is bound to show some wear.
