Yes, I would also agree. But it looks that Jeep found a legal workaround how to use tires without TPMS sensors and annoying TPMS control light. The control light goes on just once and never again (see the user manual for the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler). Hey Toyota, we also want this feature! And do not tell me that "Quod licet Iovi, non licet bovi"!
