I was surprised LX diesel version has been offered although it seems in Russia only.
Anyway interesting combination, (there has been earlier IS220d, 2.2 diesel)
That V8 is Toyota/Lexus first V8 diesel, sounds nice.
I've seen/heard it only in LandCruiser 200

Yes, it would be nice to have it here in the USA. I am really unhappy with my LX's range.
BTW, yesterday I also noticed that LX is offered in Russia with 285/60R18 tires (the same size as Land Cruiser) which makes much better sense. I already removed 21" wheels and replaced with Land Cruiser 18" wheels.
And it's also interesting that 5.7 V8 LX requires low octane fuel in Russia (91 means low octane in Europe, it's the same as 87 here in the USA).
