Default fog lights

You guys think its cool to use Sylvania bulbs in the fogs instead of the OEM bulbs? They are half the price and look like the same bulb..

I would recommend getting the LSD fog lamps from Sewell Lexus parts. I just swapped mine out and they are a huge upgrade. Plus LEDs don't burn out.

The new LED foglights are sweet! I have them on my 2014 and they match the DRLs when on.

I have that same question. How hard is it to swap out the old fogs for the LED fogs. Does the bumper have to come off like the service manual implies??

bumper has to come off.
but its simple plug and play after that for the LEDs
and they're slightly brighter than the DRLs

Yup, bumper needs to come off. Its easy, as i had to do it at least 5+ times during my front end conversion!

I think yes. With Sylvania bulbs you can gain a 30 to 50% increase in brightness, a 25 to 40% increase in forward distance visibility, and a 35 to 50% increase in peripheral width span. They are designed to match the shape and size of your original factory lights. You can check the comparison here: http://www.carid.com/sylvania/info/comparison.html

May be ok, but the life span on those bulbs SUCK, you be changing bulbs every year!!! Go with the LED's and you will never buy another bulb, plus the output will be even better than those crappy bulbs.
