Default Trading 2009 in for 2011

So I have been mulling this over now for several days.

I've about had it with the 2009 and it's technology or lack of. The phone and Bluetooth are circa I have no clue, but it's awful at best. Can't Bluetooth the music, it has no usb port, the call waiting is not an option the maps are circa 2008!! for something that so damn expensive it's not the diamond I thought it was.

I've found a 2011 with the Factory Rear DVD and Convenience PKG. It's got 45K on it. Not a CPO but I've got the Lexus Service Records. Last owner was **** about servicing it. I'm OK with that. It's got 5K left on the Lexus Warranty. The 45K is not a butt load of miles but it been driven over the average miles per year! For a few thousand more I can get a CPO with a 3/100 warranty.

I did notice on the service records that it's had blower motor resistor issues? Also Radio Tuner Assembly? Hum... I'm wondering if this is a known issue with the blower. I've had on several occasions the blower motor goes nuts on the 2009 and also the temp selection works it's way up to high by itself. Also when I shut the 2009 down and return to it the HVAC is off and it wont let me adjust it for a good several minutes. I've complained to Lexus about it and they say that's normal. It's not normal for the HVAC to revert back to the off position. My Infiniti does not revert to off when I shut it down. It recalls the last setting used and returns to that state. So I think the Lexus answer is total BS!

Any input? I'm open for answers!

I have a 08 and the lacking of technology to a 11 is the enform missing. if I wanted to upgrade I would get a 13- I updated the nav to latest gen still no enform but for usb you can add after maket to your lx. I did it on my ls430 sounds great and you keep all the stock look. cost me 100 -bucks.

seems like your havc had an issue. my rear climate was whacked they found they're was a leak in some ac pipe. fixed under warranty.

so if you can swing it get a 13-

Wanted to keep my payments less than my mortgage payment. Can't live in the car.

I'll have to wait on the 13 until next year when the depreciation kicks in at the 2 year mark.

The 2009 is a disappointment! I've saw some place if you have a SAT radio you can't have another item in the same plug in the back of the radio. It's one or the other and not both. I'll have to research that more.

The technology in the 09 is very different than in my 2011 Infiniti. The used 2011 LX is in great condition and more options than the 09. They dropped the price another 1K. We need the pulling power of the LX for the jet skis and such. I would take an GX, but the wife hates the rear door set up and likes the power door too! Call her spoiled.

I can't find any Toyota LC's that are not trashed. Different clients you can tell. But still costs a butt load of money.
