Default Trunk auto close button

The button you press to automatically close the trunk on the rear of the car isn't working. When you press it, it just beeps and does nothing. Any ideas how to fix?

There's a switch that activates/deactivates this function located near the Start/Stop button.

Why do I think this was posted in the wrong forum? The LX isn't a car and it doesn't have a trunk so what button is being pressed?
