Seem like every one has a good review about the clear bra, but my concern about the clear bra for example like about fews years later when we remove the clear bra, so that area got cover will remain new and the other area will be age? Would it look totally two different color? Thanks

On my 13' LX I paid $400 for the factory Lexus 3m clear bra & $500 for the complete front bumper and door edge films from my dealer.

Does anyone have any photos of their clear bra installed? My neighbor has one installed on his porsche, but wondering how it looked on the IS. I have had my IS 2 weeks now and already have a nick in the paint on the front bumper.

After shopping around a bit, I stopped by my neighborhood Toyota dealer (handled my 2000 LC for 12 years, and did a good job), and asked about the clear bra for the LX. They quoted me ~ $600 for the full package, front, fenders, hood and mirrors. That beats all other prices by quite a bit.

Think that I will spring for it, and add 35% tint on the front windows at the same time.

I also have the plastic covers for the headlamps and fog lamps (sort of like the 3M clear bra, but about 5x thicker), which I have equipped all of my wife's MB sedans. Though the install is easy, I will pay them to do those too, since they'll have the heat gun handy for the bra.

$600 for the hood, fenders, and mirrors??? No bumper? If so that is REALLY high.

No, that was for the front end too. My bad.

While they are at it, I am going to have them install the X-Pel covers for all front lights. I have used those on all of my wife's autos, going back to her Saab 900T (in Colorado with rocks on the road), and have never had one lamp lens broken.

I figure that as the treatments are similar, this varying in thickness, while doing the 3M sheet, they can do the head and fog lamps, as well.
