Hi, I'm pretty sure that you would still need to remove the front bumper or at least the headlights as the engine bay is rather crammed. I could be mistaken though.

acLX570, good to hear the install was successful. I'm shocked they had to take the bumper off but to each their own. Does your AFS still work? There were others that were having difficulty with the AFS not working after the install.

jimmyo, there is absolutely no reason to remove the bumper for an HID install in either the headlights, foglights or both. I did both without removing the bumper. All the plastic engine covers must be removed and there are plastic covers under the foglights that can be removed to make it easier to get to the foglight bulbs/housings. The hardest part was taking the dust covers on the headlights off, drilling holes large enough to get the wires/connectors through and ensuring enough play in the wires so the AFS still operates without interference. Oh I forgot, the battery must be removed to access the driver side headlight housing.
