Here in Seattle I"m starting to see more on the road, along with Land Cruisers.

Strange that some guy put an ad on Craigslist for an LX570 for $96,500... when the max spec for Seattle area tops out just over $83,000.

So the question is, is the LX570 still in short supply/long waiting lists?

 

My local dealer doesn't have any to test drive, so that's one sign. I didn't ask how long the waiting list is.

 

I just called another dealer, who also doesn't have one to test drive, and said that the wait time depends on the color/option combo the customer wants relative to demand. Usually in the range of 1-3 months at this point. He says he has a silver/gray one coming in in 4 weeks that hasn't been bought yet.

So, I think the market is still tight in my area, but not extraordinarily so. How long will it be before prices come off MSRP? I don't know, maybe it depends in part on gas prices and the economy. And maybe when the 09 diesels come out this fall from MB (and I think Audi?) it might hurt demand for the LX a bit.

 

I've been waiting for one to come into the local dealership to sit for more than a day so we can compare mine with it. I am having a (rear seat) audio issue that they need a new delivedred one to help diagnose.
Been about 60 days and some have come in, but out the same day....

 

I cannot locate any either with the features I want. They only seem to come in with Tech pkg and Park Assist. The wife needs rear DVD option as well. Some dealers I called offered to put me on the waiting list. When I asked how many in front of me, they all said I was 10 or 20 or even 30 on their list! That's crazy!

 

Here is CA, they come "loaded" which I dont quite know what that means...

No cool box, no radar cruise, but I like having the space where the cool box would be and dont care too much about the radar cruise.
