The front really reminds me of the GX. I honestly dont think Lexus would make the LX look similar too a GX.
If its going to be the LX, most likely will have the same Toyota Tundra 5.7 Liter engine.
*Shrugs* as I said before time will only tell.
Thing is the 5.7 - Liter V8, will have for sure over 327 - 333 hp.
Hopefully we will see the 8-speed auto in this.
If it is the new LX, hope too see a Hybrid version, 5.7 Liter V8, which in turn is similar to like a 6.7 Liter V12 pumping out some ridiculous amount of power like close too 500 horsepower, which would compete with the Porsche Cayenne Turbo or Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
LX670h, if this happens, the price would for sure be between $85,000 - $95,000 starting. Hope too see alot of the LS features in this for once.
Something like this would for sure harm Porsche.

Also i would NOT like to see a 8speed transmission in a LX. The more gear ratios you have the smaller each gear is which is more likely to break in a heavy truck application.
I hope that the new LX/JX or whatever they call it has a big motor and is either lighter or same weight as the current model. If the new one has a curb weight over 3tons i might flip out. Also hope to see bigger brakes on the new one. Something along the lines of StopTechs 14" BBK they make for the LX. As long as the LX doesnt look like a GX but more like the new LS i will be happy...so we can get the new LS and LX and have a matching family!

they wont reuse that 4.7 anymore. That motor is why the LX sales really dropped off. Such low power for such a large beast.
Bob, i hope they keep a distinct look away from the GX...i dont like everything looking the same.

It is smaller than the competition, has less features, lacks dual climate control up front and is very expensive.

I agree, it looks a lot like they camo'd the front with a GX front end. Does it seem way narrower than the Land Cruiser it's setting next to?? I hope they keep the nice width inside like the current model. The GX is a great vehicle, but a little too narrow for my liking. Great catch on the photos though!! These look to be the real deal, even if it's bits and pieces of bodywork thrown on. Can't wait to see the actual vehicle.

New Landcruiser (with Interior pics)
Here are some pics of the supposed new landcruiser interior. I guessing the Lexus version will be very similar --just with nav and lots of wood and leather.

so its the 130-series? or what is it? hm. not feeling the front end of the new cruisers. but i guess it'll have to do since most of the Lexus models have a sharp front end. Could they at least do something to the rear view? its getting old..retractable rear window would be nice. but It has a tailgate so nvm. haha.

gteach26....saw that a few days ago. Ill have to say that is one of the ugliest trucks i have seen. Ied much rather get a GX over that. Looks like a fuglied 4runquia or something. Some 4runner sequoia half bread peice of crap. that back end is horrible! Back to lookin at pictures of current lx470s...ahhh so much nicer looking.
