My front parking sensors don’t give me any warning until I am about 12 to 18 inches from an object. Is this a sign they need to be replaced? Has anyone found a way to recalibrate their front sensors’ distance? I know the rear sensorscan be adjusted through the park assist settings.
I can't say for sure the fronts were in there but there are distance adjustments in Techstream.
Thanks for the tip. I am using the Icarsoft CR Max to diagnosis problems. I bought it to work on my wife’s Cayenne and it is set up quite well for Porsches. The Techstream starts at $1600 with an annual subscription price of $1300 to use. Do you know of any other non commercial systems that could adjust the parking sensors?
This is what I use for Techstream but it is currently unavailable.
This could possibly work
Carista can change some settings
Can't say for sure either one will do it, but Techstream for sure if it is adjustable.

I had to program in my summer tires so looked around TecStream for the sensors. The only adjustment I could find was to make the rear detection narrow or wide. No adjustments for the front. Now this is for a 2009 and it is slightly possible there may be adjustments for later years.
